The Brokenhead River Game and Fish Association Range at Beausejour

Best Kept Secret? Not for Long.

Ever come across a Manitoba gem and wonder how in heck you somehow missed knowing about it? I had that experience recently on November 29 when I attended a Sporting Clay “Turkey Shoot” at the Brokenhead River Game and Fish Association’s range, 3 miles east and 3 south of Beausejour. The shoot was put on jointly by the Brokenhead folks and Scott Masniuk of Dead-a-Pair Sporting Clays. Scott is the heir apparent to good ol’ Tim Putnam who ran Green Bay Sporting Clays for long enough to realize he ought to take a break and do some shooting of his own. Scott took over Tim’s rig and is carrying on where Putnam left off. (more…)

We are pleased to announce the date and location for the 2014 Annual Golf Tournament.  This year’s tournament will be held at the Kingswood Golf and Country Club in LaSalle, Manitoba on August 13, 2014.  Registration begins at 11 AM and Tee-off is at 12 Noon.

Our tournament to date has raised $124,000 for the museum.  This is our 13th annual tournament.  We are challenging all of the Officer’s Associations across North American to sponsor a hole.  The hole sponsorship is only $200 and the first 18 sponsorships will have a sign, with their association’s logo, placed at a tee box.

Please come and join us again this year to help make this year’s tournament an even bigger success than last year.
