The Manitoba Wildlife Federation’s 12th annual Wild at Heart Banquet on November 1, 2025, was truly one to remember. Held at the Victoria Inn in Winnipeg, the evening featured great food, exciting auctions, and even a bit of World Series drama as guests cheered on the Toronto Blue Jays during Game Seven, streamed live on the big screen.
Guests enjoyed a delicious prime rib dinner and a lively auction led by Dave Rodgers, featuring incredible prizes such as trips from Burntwood Lodge, Catena Argentina Safaris, and Janni Otto Safaris (South Africa). Many generous Manitoba businesses—including FFUN Headingley, Luke’s Town Service, Stillwater Adventures, and Bass Pro/Cabela’s Canada—helped make the event a huge success. Between the live and silent auctions, bucket draws, and grand prizes, funds raised will directly support MWF’s conservation programs and advocacy efforts across the province.
Even though the Jays didn’t take home the win, MWF sure did—thanks to the amazing support from sponsors, donors, volunteers, and guests who made the night unforgettable.
