On March 12, during a meeting of the Parliamentary Standing Committee on Environment and Sustainable Development, Branden Leslie questioned the Minister of Environment and Climate Change and senior staff from Parks Canada about the status of the Seal River Watershed protected area proposal and whether these areas will remain accessible to all.
