A CONVERSATION WORTH HEARING
The Executive Director of Public Land Use Society, Warren Mirko, joined Chief Aaron Pete of Chawathil First Nation on Nuanced for a thoughtful and candid discussion exploring reconciliation, treaties, public governance of Crown land, private property, and some of the complex issues shaping conversations across British Columbia and Canada.
While this discussion focuses on developments in BC, many of the topics addressed have direct relevance to Manitoba, including discussions around land use, access, Indigenous relations, conservation, and the future management of Crown lands.
