This past weekend, the Manitoba Wildlife Federation hosted its 3rd Annual Becoming an Outdoors Family (BOF) program at Circle Square Ranch, south of Austin, Manitoba.
Designed to bring families together through hands-on learning, BOF introduces participants of all ages to hunting, fishing, conservation, and a variety of related skills. Every activity was designed to ensure that everyone in the family could participate, even the very young. The goal is to experience and enjoy the outdoors together!
Eight families joined us for this year’s event, creating a weekend filled with learning, adventure, laughter, and new experiences. It was fantastic to see families building confidence in their outdoor abilities. MWF looks forward to seeing how these families continue to grow and expand their outdoor skills in the years ahead! A very special thank you to the incredible volunteers who gave their time, knowledge, and enthusiasm to help MWF staff deliver this program. Their support was instrumental in making the weekend such a success! We are already looking forward to next year’s program!
Many thanks to the Fish & Wildlife Enhancement Fund, Danny’s Whole Hog, & Neepawa District Conservation for their support!
