Fish Filleting and Shore Lunch

What do you do after you caught your fish? Do you release it back to the water, or do you keep it for eating? Here is an opportunity to learn how to fillet Walleye! 

This workshop will show you the basics of filleting a walleye. Each participant will have four fish to practice on, and you will be able to keep your fillets to show off your new skills at your next family supper! 

We will demonstrate knife sharpening, the basic cuts, how to transport fillets, and will end with a small shore lunch and fish sampling. 

Date: August 6th, 2020 at 6PM

Cost: $50

Location: MWF Office (4-999 King Edward Street) 

Maximum Participants: we will be accepting 8 participants, with social distancing protocols in place during the workshop.
