Join this virtual experience as FortWhyte Alive joins the Manitoba Wildlife federation to discuss all aspects of ice fishing and ice safety. Learn how to be more confident and safe on the ice as you brave the cold to catch some of Manitoba’s beautiful species.

Connor Milligan is the Public Program Coordinator at FortWhyte Alive. He has experience both with ice fishing and open water fishing from large lakes to rivers to back country waterways. He has a passion for the outdoors and helping educate and connect people with nature.

Chris Benson is Manitoba Wildlife Federation’s Program and Events Coordinator, for nearly 20 years his passion has been helping to introduce and engage new people to the outdoors through mentorship programs. As an avid angler, most winter weekends he can be found on Manitoba’s many lakes.
