The Learn-to-Fish program is offered each year through the City of Winnipeg’s Leisure Guide. Call 311 for more information or visit the Leisure Guide Online at Winnipeg.ca/leisureonline.
The Learn-to-Fish program is specifically aimed at people who do not fish (or fish very little) but are interested in learning more about fishing. All equipment is provided and local professional anglers provide instruction.
The Manitoba Wildlife Federation, a member of the Urban Angling Partnership, has provided on site volunteers to assist the 75 program participants annually.
